Sometimes there will be a few runts in the mix but they usually catch up. I assume that those cups have a drainage hole on the bottom? In the top pick there appears to be one bean? plant in the cup on the lower right.

Are they all the same type of tomato, or different varieties? I plant 6 to 8 varieties and some sprout earlier/later than others, and some are different sizes.

theyre all the same type... i think. i planted them from seeds i got out of some cherry tomatoes i bought at the store 😅

The cherry tomatoes you bought were probably hybrids (most produce is), so they won't come true from seed. Meaning, the store tomatoes were created by mixing different genetic lines. The resulting seeds will revert to those original grandparent genes.

So they could be different tomatoes. Don't expect them to be tasty. It's possible but not likely. They will resemble the grandparents, not the parents.

If you want to grow from your own seeds, look for heirloom varieties. They are genetically stable.
