Help with hydrangea ID

I know this is a long shot but thought I'd give it the old college try. Can anyone help me identify this hydrangea? I got it at a CT plant swap about 10-15 years ago and can't remember the name, if I ever had it.

Sorry, I just realized I don't have any wider shots of the shrub. It's tall, at least six feet tall, and somewhat gangly - branches kind of all over the place, although in its defense it did get hit by a large tree limb that fell last year. I'll try to add a wider shot tomorrow.

Also, these photos were taken about four days ago, so the blooms are just starting to be fully open - later than most of my other hydrangeas. Blooms are about 6 inches in diameter.

Thanks for any help you can give! If you guys can help me I've got another NOID hydrangea (in the background with the pink blooms in the lower left corner!) that I'll throw out next lol.

All I can tell you based on the cone shaped flowers & late bloom is that it’s a Paniculata type which do bloom later than macrophylla / mophead flower types. Watch the flowers to observe the colors the white fades to as flowers age & that will give you clues to name. I don’t think it’s a Lime light as it’s flowers start out limey color & age to white. You can easily correct the gangly lookof this shrub with pruning next spring. Paniculata blooms on both new & old wood so you won’t sacrifice bloom by pruning but will create stronger branch structure to support the long flowers

I'm in Zone 6 and most of my paniculatas are well past white and into their blush phase except Pinky Winky which is always the last of them to start. Pinky is an older cultivar, too which goes with your 10-15 year ago acquisition date.

Dee, Looks like the limelight from George from the old swaps. I have the same one but he told me to train it to grow as a tree.

Yes, I was going to say it looks just like the stage and color of my LIttle Lime, but it's larger, so maybe Limelight.

Wow, thanks everyone! I wasn't expecting many responses so I'm grateful to you all. I'll look at all of the suggestions but I lean towards the Limelight because it was, after all, from the CT swap so it is likely from George. Hmm, I was going to give it to my daughter but may have to rethink it. I have sentimental attachments to certain things from certain swap members, and now that I know it's probably from George I'll hold on to it!

Thank you EVERYONE! Since I had such good luck with an ID for this hydrangea I'll get photos of the other one and see what you guys can do lol!

For what it's worth, here's a shot of the whole shrub. You can see it's all over the place. Sorry for the picture quality. My phone doesn't take very good photos, especially wide shots.

I guess I'll have to pr-pr-prune it lol. Gosh I hate the idea of having to prune something lol! (And I have to get rid of the poison ivy at the base of it!)
