GORGEOUS!!!!!!! Gosh I love this little bloom. Unfortunately my seeds didn't germinate this year (due to budget constraints from losing my job I used old seed, and had lots of stuff not germinate).

I always had this in my cutting garden to use for bouquets, but I love yours in the pot. I should think about using these more in the garden/landscape than just for cutting.

I love Gomphreana. I have a small patch in the vegetable garden wedged in between the tomatoes and basil. I grow it for drying as it combines well with celosias for use in indoor winter arrangements.

I know some do not like Garden Answer on youtube, but in this video, she showcases some pretty uses of gomphreana.

I have grown it the past two years and I love it too. My seeds were water logged and did not germinate this year. I already have seed for next year to try again. I was bummed that I did not have them this year.

To all, please tell me whether butterflies often have drunk from your gomphrena.

I don't think I can recall butterflies at my gomphrena, but that doesn't necessarily mean they don't, just that I haven't seen them lol.

Sadly my gomphrena did not germinate well this year and then what did got neglected before I could plant it out. I am in the middle of a gomphrenaless season and I don't like it lol.

Gumneck I love the purple gomphrena with those zinnias! So colorful!
