I vote the same railings for both exterior applications.

I would use neither and would do glass. You can do aluminum railings with glass or there are higher end options that look like they have no top and it’s beautiful to look through

I think glass would be lovely to take full advanage of the view. Whatever you choose, suggest they be the same.

If you don’t want maintenance to keep clean, go with the cable railing vs welded pickets, as it’s not as intrusive.

I vote for eliminating the stone. The designer uses it as if it were paint. Stone is bulky, heavy, structural, and hard and should be used accordingly.

I would have voted for one of the lake views but I fell this is more helpful.
