I bought a bed that has 2 drawers up front. The bed has slats and my adjustable bed frame is on top of it. I want to remove the slats and place the adjustable bed frame on legs inside the frame. My question is there are 2 drawers in the front of the bed that interfere with me being able to do this. Is it possible to cut a small section of the back of the drawer out and create a U shape to facilitate placing the bedframe legs there, without compromising the sliding drawer? I have seen this in bathroom cabinet drawers to facilitate accommodating plumbing. Will it work for what I am trying to accomplish?
