Three years ago I bought a Spanish tiled roof house and before moving in, had the interior painted, going with a Santa Barbara style of Alabaster White (SW7008) for walls with a dark chocolate trim. I made a mistake with the color of the kitchen cabinets, which is a shade off and do not match the plantation shutters, which are throughout the house. So now I have three colors of trim: Chocolate brown molding, yellowy beige shutters, and greyous beige cabinets. I want to keep the original tiles floors, which are throughout the first floor. How can I correct this?

- Do I paint all the shutters Alabaster?

- Or do I repaint the kitchen cabinets to match the shutters (yellowy beige)?

- Or should I paint the shutters, trim and cabinets to Alabaster White to all match?

- What would look best keeping those tile floors? Can the shutters be painted and still function?

I see all the newer homes have white everywhere, and am trying to update the look without redoing the flooring, which I still love, and is very durable. Thanks for your advice.
