Can I use Range Hood without vent i .e. in recirculation?

The condo that I have can't get a real ventilation to the outside. Currently we have one of those microwave about the stove that only makes noise.

So my question is can I install real range hood and vent it somewhere else in the kitchen and not to the outside? Maybe add a charcoal filter in the duct after the hood?


I have my eyes on a wall hood by Mielle with slanted stainless steel baffles - DAR 1230.
