This is a lovely colour. I've seen it in a bathroom. It has a slight hint of blue.

We used SW Silverpoint, a lovely light greeny bluey gray. All depends on time of day as to which one it favors. But mostly it is greeny gray.

I have Sea Salt in our master bedroom and because it is west facing it appears more blue. Since our master bath has no windows I didn't use it in there. For your bath it really depends how much natural light you have to bring out the green hue. It is fickle, you would want to make a sample board to try out in the room. The SW Silverpoint described above might be something to consider.

Sea Salt is a beautiful subdued blue green, but I love blue greens. If I were wanting something more green and a little less blue green I would use Pine Frost.

Green is very unflattering for my complexion color. In a room with most pale greens, I look like I am just recovering from the flu. Especially in a bathroom where I would be applying makeup, I would vote “no”.

@remodeling1840 - I love your self-awareness. When I was young I was a cosmetologist and did makeup in a salon. Learned a lot about what works with our skin tones and hair and eye coloring.

Loved doing makeup, didn't like listening to people spout their opinions, but I digress.

For the last 20 years I have been helping people pick interior paint colors as a hobby. I have found that most women love the colors that look good on them and incorporating those colors in their interior design creates an atmosphere that brings them joy.

I'm glad to see this thread about bathroom wall color. We recently had a solid-surface Kohler Walk-In Shower installed in the hall bath. Dumb me, I picked a shower wall pattern that looks like marble but didn't think to compare the samples to other bathroom surfaces and paint colors. Turns out the marble-look walls are actually a light green; SW Sagey is a very close match. The old paint color still present is a light blue and looks terrible w/ the shower. If we paint the walls w/ Sagey, I'm afraid it will look depressing. White doesn't seem to be an option because it would just highlight the odd color of the shower. Also, the bath gets little natural light. The floor tile is brown and gray. Suggestions welcome! [Didn't mean to highjack but was lured by discussions of green!]

@probookie, You will need to test colors in your own space, but you are right that a brighter white will highlight the green undertones. I would probably go with a darker gray green, but if you want lighter SW Creamy may be the right answer. Doesn't fight with the color or bring out the undertones.

We have SW Silverpoint in our bedroom. In our lighting, it is a very soft, light greige that leans towards a sage green. It's a very soothing color. Lighting (natural and installed) makes all the difference in how a paint will look in your space so be sure to do large areas of testing and look at it in different lighting conditions. In our space it mostly disappears into the background and just provides a pleasant neutral backdrop for the rest of the room.
