Design help! Adding a garage between a house and garage.

we have a small (1400sqft) ranch (on the right of the photo) and a two story garage (red building). the top of the garage is a old studio apt. we want to connect the two. I want a garage thats attatched to the house with a bonus room above. thoughts? My husband wants to leep the existing garage red and make the addition tan siding to match the house. i think it would look better all one color thiugh though. Rough sketch from architect before we decided on bonus room.





We have an architect but he is taking a long time to get us drawings

    Remove the red, unless you want the rest of house red too. Buy your husband a red tool chest box for the garage to remind him of his fond memories when it was once red.
