Replace Ficus with?

Hi, I have a beautiful large ficus tree that will be cut down in my backyard. It is on HOA easement and is causing damage to neighbors yard. My question is, what is a good tree that I can replace it with? We live in southern California, zone 10b. The tree will be on a bit of a slope so it needs to do well there. I would like the tree to get large like the ficus but without the invasive roots. Also, a tree that doesn't shed too much (leaves or seeds). Is all that possible? So sad to see this tree go as it gives us shade all summer long. Thanks for any input!

How tall do you desire? I have avocado trees, the roots don’t seem to be invasive & the bonus is avocados ( if you like them, I love them). My favorite smaller trees are Redbuds ( Eastern & Western ), however, they don’t grow very tall. Yes, ficus tree roots can be destructive, some were removed where I live ( Newport Beach ) for that reason. I’ll think about it some.

Mount atlas pistache is a wonderful tree! Or a Red Push Pistache. My Atlas is bigger and maybe slower growing. Semi-deciduous
