Floor tile for small main bathroom

We live in a house in the city which was built in the late 1800s…which means rooms are smaller, including the bathroom. We are starting to plan to remodel the main bathroom on the second floor and are debating on floor tile.

For the floor tile, I like the look it a simple pattern the the photo attached, but have read that patterns and small tile with too many grout lines can make a small space appear even smaller.

This concrete tile isn't considered small and would look fabulous in even a small bathroom. The mat surface and grout are important for a non-slip bathroom floor. The most classic tiles of your home’s period would be considered small tile like mosaics, penny rounds and hexagons. Good luck on your project.

This concrete tile have 17 - 18 century French pattern. They look very well in your house.
