I would stick with all the same finishes.

I suggest that you go to a home center or kitchen supplier and by one (1) knob or pull in the styles and finishes that you like and either hold them up or fasten them to the cabinets to see how they work with the other finishes.

IMO, you don't have to 'match' every finish and sometimes its better to have some contrast.

The hardware is really the last item to install so I would not sweat it and get it all together and then get a few samples and decide.

I think it's fine to use chrome hardware on the cabinets and ORB pendants over the island, as long as they are all in a traditional style.
