must be doing alot of laundry. I would think of installing one Miele Little Giant in place oif the double LGs and use the extra space for something else (storage) . The Mieles arent cheap but they are very fast and better on clothes.

Running gas pipe is probably cheaper than expanding the electrical panel to accomodate multiple 220v for the dryers

I owuld also make sure that when , one day, you replace the washtowers that the sizing of the cutout can fit a new generation of washer dryer stck.

@delray33483 I am always doing laundry and I sort everything and always have small loads of delicates, light and dark. Teens are always waiting on dryer to finish, etc. I was doing the samsung that had the double washer unit in one but it's being discontinued. The price of these LG washtower with the labor day sale and rebate, is always the same price as the samsung washer/dryer I was going to buy! This way I can do 2 loads at once. And if one is soaking, the other can be running, etc. I currently have a huge samsung washer/dryer (I can't even reach the bottom). It's great but I really would rather have the double. And the double stackers fit exactly where the cutout is for the side by side. I do need to consider the height since these are lower than a normal stacker. I guess back to my question, if I have 3 untis, 2 gas and 1 electric, should I put a gas and electric side by side and gas downstairs, or do both gas units side by side and electric downstairs? Wonder if the venting is different. I'll have to research.

I only ever had a gas dryer once years ago and found it yellowed my whites over time I think I need tounderstand the choice of the gas at all. Maybe where you live gas is really cheap.
