Can you post a clear close up? The new growth looks distorted. Is that the case?

Yes!!!! I trimmed these in June! So it summer here. This is a pic from last week. It’s all new growths but stunted.

I get sad every time I see them because do not know how to correct this and I’m scared to trim again.

Also, I trimmed these all at the same time. The pic with the windows are the shrubs back wild after trimming the closer pic are the shrubs affected.

Wow, I wonder if Loropetalum decline is what happened to our Loropetalum…ours looked like your KC13…it seem to happen after my husband trimmed them and I was made at him thinking he mess something up. Anyway we ended up removing them. Wish now I would of taken pictures also.

I just trimmed them again, just to see what will happen. I believe unfortunately this is loropetalum decline. The only difference is these in the front are in the sun a little longer and the ones that wasn’t effected only received morning sun and is shaded after 12 pm; no afternoon sun for either one.

May I ask, what did u replace them with thomasma ?

We haven't replaced them yet. We just hired a local landscape designer to help us with our front yard design (we found her on Houzz) and she was also surpised they didn't do well in the spot we had them.
