I decided to share some pictures of some trees I've planted and the success of their growth since then.

First a wild sugar maple I transplanted from a neighbors property in the fall of 2017 and died back almost to the ground during the first winter. This picture is from the spring 2018:

Here it is as of this week (summer 2021), sorry about the white stuff in the picture, I've already put my fall deer rub protection on my trees.

This is a swamp white oak that was planted in summer of 2017.
