I’m working on laying out tile for a fireplace. I started at the top, since I want full tiles across the top. This leaves about an inch of space at the bottom and I’m not sure how to fix it. I’m an amateur, but this forum helped me install tile before and it turned out SO well. I know slivers aren’t acceptable, so what do I do? Also, I’m planning on spreading the tile out along the top to take up the 1/2” space in the 3rd picture. Will that look ok?
