It’s fall, it’s cool, and rebloom continues

We are in a cool front of three glorious days. will it last? Oh no, but I can enjoy these temps while working in the garden! I think our weeks and weeks of rain encouraged lots of rebloom.

Tangerine Tickles looks better on rebloom or perhaps it looks better in isolation.

The last bloom on the last rebloom scape of Heavenly Dark Matter

Indian Giver looked the best ever this year (although not compared to Sherry’s) and this is the first rebloom scape it has ever had

Spacecoast Bold Scheme lost in one of the huge lantanas

Memphis on third rebloom cycle

Battered rain bloom on Lovin’ Tennessee

Clownfish on first rebloom scape-also had huge proliferations

Just for fun-daylily bed in June…..

Which is a Zinnia bed today-Tangerine Tickles lost in the zinnias!

I showed the native American beautyberry in my last post-this is the hybrid version-berries are much smaller.

Sherry, I think I remember your discussion about Indian Giver reblooming last year because I was thinking at the time that mine had never rebloomed!

Julia, I am knocking on wood as I write but so far the Liquid Fence granules appear to be working! Fingers crossed for next year!

Mantis, I can honestly say that is one of two grass and weed free beds. I would be embarrassed to show the weeds in my other beds! After all our rain this summer, it has been a fight I lost long ago!

Here is Memphis today after a warm day-showing the ruffles although faded color.

What pretty group of rebloomers! Tangerine Tickles and Memphis are my favorites. The June photos are gorgeous!

Debra, I knew Memphis would be a favorite of yours!! I did not get a later picture of it when it was fully opened and so pretty.

Wow, Kate, it feels like spring again, so nice to see your rebloom! I love that photo from June. My Indian Giver rebloomed for me last season, first time ever. We are experiencing a few cool days also, in the 60’s til Friday. The good thin…….we finally got some decent rain.

Wonderful to see your still getting reblooms. Tangerine Tickles looks very good. Love the color.

The before and after garden shots really shows how the seasons change. Spacecoast Bold Scheme looks great mixed in with the lantanas. Enjoy the cooler temps and I hope the rabbits and deer are finally giving up on dining on your gardens.

Your garden looks quite weed free. It's been a bad year here for weeds. None of those pictured rebloom here (Memphis, Indian Giver, Dark Matter),

Wow Kate, so many nice ones still going! I have 2 small buds left on VT Sept Fires and that's it. Indian Giver is always a favorite of mine. Mine usually reblooms but oddly enough, though I had more reblooms in general this year, it didn't.

I love the June Garden bed picture. We need to do a post of garden shots!

Kate, what are the small purple blooms growing behind Tangerine Tickles. They caught my eye, but I do not know what they are and I would like to know . That is a beautiful shot by the way.

Both of your bed shots are really pretty! Isn't it amazing what all of the rain has done for the lilies? I see your plants are looking lsh and green like mine and it is unprecedented at this time of year. And I have more plants that have put up rebloom scapes. This is an unending season, isn't it?

Yes, Kay, lush is a good word for the plants! They look almost like spring plants. I have many more rebloom scapes popping up!!

Those plants you mentioned are just very small zinnias. As you can tell, I just let them dry and they are attempting to go to seed!
