I am considering a redo of the garage floor of my 76 year old house. I filled in some cracks with concrete 21 years ago and subsequently painted it with garage floor paint,. Then about 10 years ago resealed it with an epoxy coating. It's a mess now with spalling, along with a river of new concrete over where the new sewer lines were installed earlier this season.

I'm trying to determine which would be the best product to use, for the lowest maintenance and long-term durability, a NatureStone type product or new pour concrete?

If concrete, would the whole floor need to be jack-hammered to remove the old floor? This is a concern as I had new sewer pipes installed under the slab and wouldn't want an accidental slip of a jackhammer breaking or cutting into the new pipes.

I understand for the NatureStore, the contractor would diamond grind the existing concrete as a first step.
