We are building a home that has an open concept. Our dining area is directly next to the kitchen. The kitchen is going to have a large island and we’ll put beautiful pendant lighting over it. The dining area is about 13x11, has a built in hutch (with lighting inside), 3 large windows that look out to the pretty backyard, and a door to the outside patio. All that being said, we are wondering if recessed lights would be ok there to keep the space more “open” feeling or if we should go with a chandelier? If anyone has a similar layout with recessed lighting, I’d love to see pics!
