Treasure Trail by Paul Barden

I recently acquired this rose and this is my first bloom cycle in my yard. In the past I have been intrigued by moss roses but never really grew them . If they were all like what Treasure Trail has been for the month that I have had it, I think that Moss roses would be my favorite class. I'm going to try to post the pictures, but if not then hopefully this will get you there.

Unfortunately, they aren't all like that. Treasure Trail has a better than average resistance to black spot and mildew. MANY other mosses do not.

I just looked up TT on HMF. One parent is Ralph Moore’s Scarlet Moss. No wonder TT is such a little wonder! Those colors…and those little mossy buds…. I tried to get both SM and TT a while back but was eternally waitlisted. Now I am downsizing the number of roses I grow. Did you get your TT from RVR, Brandon? Carol

@librarian_gardner_8b_pnw @portlandmysteryrose Treasure Trail is one of the roses that I got from Dave when he posted that he was moving and couldn't take his roses. I believe that he did get it from RVR though.

Really a cool rose. Im glad that you got some of Dave's roses. He must have felt good to have been able to pass his collection on to someone who would care for them and appreciate their beauty and uniqueness.

That’s a nice pic of Treasure Trail, I’m glad Dave’s roses found a good home. I hope you post pics of Golden Buddha when she blooms, too.
