How to support quartz for an extended table island.

Hello. Per the attached picture, I have a 42" island cabinet base (made up of a 27" and a 15") and a set of 4"x4" legs to support a 102" length x 29" width piece of quartz. With a 1.5" overhang on each end, I will have 53" of quartz between the cabinet base on the start of the legs.

The stone company mentioned using (2) hidden island brackets that would extend from the 15" base cabinet. Home Depot offers brackets up to 54" length...https://www.homedepot.com/p/THE-ORIGINAL-GRANITE-BRACKET-54-in-Hidden-Island-Support-Bracket-HISB-54/311400395.

I believe these may flex too much and do not like them not connecting to the legs for lateral support.

After researching online, I believe a 1"x2" welded steel frame that would extend across the 15" cabinet to the legs would be best. The base cabinet and legs would be notched out 1"deep to hold the frame.

I am looking for opinions that this is acceptable. Thanks!
