Interesting plant. Is the pink part a part of the leaf structure or a bloom?

Ohhhhh.... the Billbergia Strawberry is sitting on top of the Rhipsalis ewaldiana.it looks a lot like a bromelaid.

Its my best looking brom. At least the only one to be mottled. I bought it at a SF Cactus and Succulent Society sale a decade ago $7. Went for cacti,came back with the Brom!

I have a lot of Billbergia in my back yard, and the color of the leaves varies, depending on how much sun they get. They stay green if in a lot of shade, but they turn reddish purple when they get enough sunlight.
