Hello Manju, around here theyare starting to go dormant for fall. When does that happen there?

The highs here is still in the 80s and it goes down to 50s at night. Typically trees around here shed leaves starting Nov. From the pics, do you think it's just the tree going dormant or is there an underlying condition that I should be concerned about

leaf color and dormancy are not solely based on temps .... it also includes declination of the sun ... etc ...

and we are only 3 weeks from nov ...

and it was a rather large transplant ... which can always make trees do weird things for the first few years after the stressful transplant ...

keep it properly watered all winter in your zone ... a dormant tree should not need a lot of water ... just dont let it go bone dry thru the root zone ...
