My house needs a face lift!

Looking for ideas for paint colors, new front door style, improving the look of the blank wall above the garage and suggestions on beefing up the posts. Than you!

I'd bring in some contrast. either w/the stucco or the trim (light/dark)

switch out the garage door pop-ins w/something more current. maybe garage door hardware.

    vertical address plaque

    new exterior lighting

I can't see the front door.

here's what I mean by contrast. maybe do some wood posts, freshen up the flower beds

Thank you! The current colors are "frost" and "snow", so basically the same color. I uploaded 4 photos using the Houzz app, so maybe that is the issue.

the others didn't load. try loading them down in comments.

the horizontal wood slat siding around the front window would look great on your home

dark trim along the roof fascia (and on yours, around the window) new numbers, light

see the garage door windows? something like this. and paint it dark to match the darker trim color. you could do some type of wood trim work over the garage area like they show here:

see the address? more modern. yours would be veritcal. new lights. dark window trim. flower beds are nice too

You could paint the brick a dark charcoal, do the wood siding around the window area, square pop-ins, dark doors, and a Swiss Coffee on the stucco w/Wrought Iron on your fascia and window trim. maybe wood post on the porch area

I used Wrought Iron on my own trim, along w/Swiss Coffee. I like these soft blue grays w/it too

I think these would also work w/your roof color. just depends what you like. (and these would look great w/some natural wood products like the siding or the posts

see the natural wood shingles w/the soft white and gray? the new lights, address, door?

garage door hardware makes a diff
    and new pop ins.

    See?

I do like the updates with the painted red brick and the yellow hous. Any thoughts on colors in the green family?

I like these. love the darker doors.

Or you could do the darker stucco w/the lighter trim.

I'd paint the brick mailbox the same white as your house (use Romabio)

Adagio is also a nice stucco color w/the wrought iron. and, I love the warmer wood tones on the gate and the address plaque.

you could also use Hale Navy for the door, and the porch posts.

these are a greenish gray. you like this? (I still like the upper one better)

We will be replacing the roof prior to painting. And we will be redoing the garage so that instead of 3 doors we have a single and a double, so we can update the look when that is done. I think the blue grays are prettier than the green grays, looking at these samples. Is it possible to paint the red brick accent on the driveway and the porch? Let me see if I can upload the porch photo.

wait for them to fully load before submitting. (they will go from a soft gray to a full color when loaded)

are you doing a charcoal or black roof?

I would just paint the brick mail box. leave the ribbons on the driveway as is

    here are some blue grays

ah, ok. better shot. (you're like me. a ton of potted plants! I would elimate a bunch of those and bring in one or two larger pots, trim up the flower beds, and see if that looks a bit better)

tried to clean it up a bit and bring in a few ceramic pots. the color of this door would be Cyberspace.

the other flowerbed plants need to be trimmed and cleaned up

here's more of a Lavender blue w/terra cotta and copper accents

You could white wash your brick like it's shown here. look at a small container of Romabio Classico imewash.

I think the white wash brick would look nice w/a black door, copper pots, or a bright ceramic pot

    here's one w/green

dark stucco, bright door, bright white trim would also be very pretty.

Ya, the small pots are being rehabbed for a work project. The blue door is very pretty!

The landscaping is a separate project, but will be addressed :)

So many great ideas!! Thank you Beth! I have to say, the orchid colored door is kind of fabulous. Don't think the hubby will sign off, but I love it! I'll look into white washing the brick. That would freshen it up a lot. I appreciate your time and ideas.

I love that door color too. and hubby will sign off on it if it makes you happy. It's just a door color! not a big deal. give him something masculine w/the garage doors

mine are similar to this wood look. they really warm up the exterior

here's mine w/Wrought Iron and Swiss Coffee. and the wood gate (redwood)
