Installing 3” base cab fillers

Can someone kindly confirm what I think I know? A pair these of 3” Rev-A-Shelf fillers cannot flank a range, correct?

Working on a project to remove a vintage 36” range and replace with a 30” induction. I have to kill the 3” on either side of stove somehow. Thanks.

    These are meant to be installed between two cabinets, not to a cabinet on one side and something freestanding on the other. There is no carcass with these, just the guts, and it says on the site that they are to be installed between two cabinet and are exactly 3". The OP is correct.
