If that is correct, it would narrow down the vintage. It's a nice, classic style.

Most assuredly it's an alacite lamp by the Aladdin company. The company was known for their mantle kerosine lamps that burned very brightly,w hen electrification became more common, they began making electric lamps and acquired a glass company to make their own glass parts. Electric lamp manufacturing stopped sometime in the 50's but I believe they are still making kerosine lamps.
