I like the clean look of white, but it is entirely up to you.

I like white. I don’t like dark grey or black appliances. Just my personal opinion. You do you.

I would choose white. The color goes with existing cabinetry in the room so there would be less ‘visual clutter’ in an already small room.

Approx 8 years ago, I bought washer and dryer when we moved into this house - not quite as dark as what you show, but something called liquid silver if I remember correctly. I liked them even though the tile in my laundry beige, cabinets white but with chrome handles. Sink faucet chrome so some touches of silver in the room. I liked the color that is. It was probably the worst HE washer I've ever used. Year and a half ago, I gave to a young man in his first rental house with no washer or dryer. I bought white replacements, but would have been fine with the silver again too.

I see dryers have become more expensive when they used to be more modestly priced. If you ever needed to replace one and not the other and wanted a matched pair, you might not be able to find same color. White is certainly safer.
