I would say Drifting by DE is close to Perfect Greige but a little bit warmer and lighter.

The Drifting does look close on my screen. DE should be able to tell you their equivalent(s) to Perfect Greige. We're going through exterior painting right now. Sounds like you got more help from DE's paint consultant than we did. A gray/green would work nicely with your brick and roof color. Whatever you decide, I would paint the garage door the same color as the siding. Painting it white gives it more focus than the rest of the house.

Like you, we have a ranch home with brick and wood siding. DE was able to give me some equivalents of SW's colors. However, nothing we tested seemed right. We ended up going with SW Repose Gray since I wanted a lighter siding color. Also, in our case the roof is gray.

@chloebud yes I thought something would look good with a green undertone but she said that a red undertone would also work with the brick. She was great and was rrcommended by the painter. I wouldnt mind trying both. Yup were doing all the trim in DE white picket fence I think, but thank you for the advice on the garage door. The brown roof does eliminate a very grey color. But ill have them color match even though i know it wont be exactly the same but we shall see :)

Stephanie, we're using DE White Picket Fence for the trim. Our painter uses DE paints, but they couldn't match the Repose Gray quite right, or at least to my liking. In your photos the roof looks like brown with some red in it...? If so, that's where a gray/green can work. If it's really just brown (no red) you have more options. With your mockups from the color consultant, I kind of like the Fine Grain. However, you likely know it has an LRV of 59 and could look fairly light on the exterior. I don't think that's a bad thing with a long, low-ish roof line (common on ranch homes) that sometimes shadows thngs. I was just thinking a lighter color could give the house more "life." Perfect Greige is darker with an LRV of 42, but, again, colors can really look lighter on the exterior.

@chloebud yes im def gravitating towards the Fine Grain. But we’ll see how it looks on the house. I dont think the roof has any red in it. Its just a medium brown. Its funny you mentioned shadows. When trying to get a good pic of the house, I could never get one without most of it being in shadow.

@ashlifoster We ended up going with Dunn Edwards Trail Dust. When we put up the other samples, it looked just like what was already there. It came out great. Worked great with the red brick and the dark blue trim for the door and shutters.
