What’s your budget? Do you like original art or more mass produced items? Mirrors are a pretty inexpensive way to get something large and framed on the wall.

Wallpaper and a large mirror

Some option

Art centered 5' above the floor.

Nice as it is with details of dining set, metal sheen, etc... after seeing entire room, it'd be easier to see the 'big picture'... seeing nearby rooms is good too.

Are your floors wood? Is there 'other than neutral' in your house? - this might seem too much the same as the room now.

Thinking about dinner plates, so many varieties - why not place the look as art on the wall instead?

Do y’all suggest curtains?

A large oversized piece of art on that wall would look nice.

Yes - for curtains!

Can you show the other side of the room? Hard to say just seeing this wall.

I don’t like how the huge piece of art looks in the mock-up above. This room has a gracious feel; the oversized art overwhelms. And unless it’s a meaningful piece, or really relates to the area it’s in, it just looks like someone trying to fill up the wall space in a quick and easy way.

This is the other wall. I know the mirror is too small. Need to change it

I think a buffet or console would look really nice on the mirror wall — with the mirror (or different mirror) above it, and lamps.

I’d do one or two pieces of non-giant art on the other wall. Look for art that has meaning to you, and you enjoy looking at.

Lovely room. :)

Your mirror is too small . get some wall art for balance.

I agree about the console. Can you fit one on either wall?

The mirror is way too small for anywhere in that room. I think you can raise the quality of the wall decor you select for this room.

Something like these maybe:

I like this the most though. You could replace the mirror you already have with something like this and add artwork on the opposite wall.

You might be able to try a really nice, large piece of artwork. You also might consider adding a buffet with a mirror over it. Here are some of our dining rooms designs that should aid you further.
