If it’s quartz from Cambria you can contact them by using their 800 number if it’s under warranty they will handle it. Awesome customer service without using the contractor. That was my experience anyways.

That's weird. You should call the stone fabricator and the quartz manufacturer and ask them what can be done.

Have the blotches been there from the start? Is it a manufacturing defect or something that happened over time? Either way, if your contractor won’t help you I’d contact the place the countertop was purchased from and see if they can help. Maybe repolish it or something. Good luck.
