There's a reason for that; the marketplace has spoken. There is no way a fabricator is going to be able to cost effectively manufacture a color/particulate/movement matched switch plate cover. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

Bob Kistner, from Toledo, Ohio, used to own Cameo Countertops with this dad and brother. They manufactured Corian switch plate covers. Look him up; maybe he can help.

Thanks Shannon - I also found Taken For Granite. i assumed they were no longer in business because when i clicked on their menu items, i reached a 403 Error page. I’ll call.

Thanks Joseph Corlett - You’re right! our fabricator was in business for 20 years, his equipment broke last year and he decided to close his business. I’ll try Cameo Countertops.

I remember awhile back, somebody here had their switch plate covers faux painted. You sent in a picture and they matched the pattern/colors of your countertops. Might be an option if you can't get the stone done.

Wcjo, are you referring to Taken For Granite or someone else? Hopefully, you have another source. I called Rob the artist at Taken for Granite. He’s retired.

A good decorative painter might be your best bet…ArtStarBaltimore does amazing work but you’re probably not near Baltimore, but they might know someone in your area.

Decided on these outlets and wallplates. Not an exact match to the tile backsplash, but good enough.

Looks great! I also like that it is horizontal and at a perfect height. It bothers me when receptacles are smack dab in the middle of the backsplash.
