How far apart (base) should each magnolia be from each other?

    Thanks for your comment. We most commonly plant magnolias about 6-7' trunk to trunk when installing them for privacy screens. In this picture I can see that they are almost planted at the exact spacing of the fence panel which is usually around 8' wide. My guess for this picture is that they are around 7.5-8' trunk to trunk.
