I upgraded from Frigidaire to Kitchen Aid because my mother had her appliances for 50 years! I bought a $4000 refrigerator that has had 3 service calls in the first 3 years and a double oven that is about five years old and it now needs a new control panel! Kitchen Aid has been such a big disappointment! I had NO service calls on my Frigidaire and for the price, you could get new appliances twice as often! I guess Kitchen Aid has adopted the belief that appliances are disposable goods, not durable goods. So, after 3 years you need to buy new ones!! Stay away from anything Kitchen Aid!!!!!
