Revamp of extension

Hi we have inherited a house with garage at the side of the house behind which there's a single storey storage room.The garage is linked to the storage room by an internal door through a plasterboard wall.My questions are does the door need to be a fire door and should the plasterboard wall be replaced by a brick wall?

The wall between an attached garage and the occupiable house proper is the wall that requires the fire separation.
