I'm going to paint my garage so it's a bit more inviting workspace, and maybe add some storage shelves. No fancy epoxy floor or anything. What do people usually do to hide or handle the gap between the drywall and the concrete foundation? In mine the concrete is about 2-3 inches high at the back and 5-6 at the front. I'm not familiar with a lot o houses, as I've mostly lived in condos. In the house I grew up, there was a 3" ledge over the foundation wall, but I'm not sure when and how that was installed, it might have been as part of framing.
