It depends on the look you are trying to create in the kitchen. Without knowing anything about the home, style and finishes there is no way to guide.

Look at dealer websites to get an idea of the direction you want to go first.

More info would help & pics would be even better... what color are the backsplash, walls, & floors, etc.

Definitely show some pics so you can get the best advice. Without seeing anything I’d say safe option would be solid white or maybe a leathered black

No backsplash, yet. Light gray walls with maple floors. Currently we have black laminate countertops. I would consider doing a granite as long as it did not have a lot of movement. Open concept. One island.

We chose chose quartz Cambria countertops. A lot of them pull gray, in my opinion, so you should have lots of quartz options if you go that route. I personally personally prefer light countertops. But it definitely depends on the look you want. I wanted very light and airy.

Cambria Britannica has rusty veins, would work good with maple cabinets.
