Picea torano Cones

A friend in Asheville send me a image of Tiger-tail spruce with a full cone crop!

If viable that's lots of potential seedlings!

That's just the 'tip of the iceberg'' I'm hoping to acquire a few hundred fresh cones

this week! No vendors that I'm aware of?

That is a nice sight. I’ve got a Abies koreana seedling that has been quite vigorous over the past several years and is now around 20’. I’m expecting cones any year now. Anticipation!

Hey Johnny, have you ever counted all the different spruce species that you grow?

Should have taken a pic, but passed a 50 ft Norway spruce in a state park that had so many cones, all the branches were weighed down severely.
