Window flashing

We had vinyl siding removed and barn and batten hardi plank installed this summer. our windows were professionally cleaned after the project was done. we have heavy frost regularly. when there is frost in the evening and then sun during the day the frost melts and splatters down the windows. the pictures attatched are two weeks after cleaning the windows. any suggestions on what is happening would be greatly appreciatedrecited.

Clean the siding as well. That appears to be oxidization from the paint on the siding.

Thank you for your reply. i agree the hardi should be washed and this is probably why the windows looks so bad. i am concerned as well about the amount of water dripping down the windows when the frost melts. i am worried the water is not being correctly directed away from the house as we didnt have this problem until after the install?

I would like to have seen some Z-bar above the 1x4 trim piece as well, but the reality is that your installation is still better than most.
