So last night I broke down and bought a bottle of the Tide w/bleach liquid. I had a $3 coupon and it was much cheaper than the powder. I don't use liquids anymore but said "what the heck". Big mistake! I washed one load and it reeked of super strong cheap perfume. I tossed a bra in with the towels and today I wore it. I could smell the rank perfume through my shirt. Not only that but the rinse water had scum floating on top and the water was not pretty. Back to the store it went. I was trying to remember the last time I had a box of Tide powder, 10 years ago, and realized that it used to leave a white debris on my black work pants. Highly over rated and overpriced, IMO.

So a little while ago I washed sheets with my Arm & Hammer powder w/oxi. Not only does it smell good, it disolves great, and the rinse water was clear. I had to show the husband but hey, he didn't care, lol.

So if you want a scummy, stanky rank detergent you have to rob a bank to buy, Tide is it.

Those days are long gone when Tide was good.
