I am not a lover of mirrors in DRs no one want to watch themselves eat . Whay not just another piece of art and a buffet in the bay if there is room and BTW the molding should be on all the walls IMO

Large modern black/neutral abstract would bring room up one more notch. Not sure if there is a pot light above but if not, I‘d add a light.

I’ve seen myself eating in a formal dining room mirror and it isn’t something I want to see again. Use art, please.

I might remove the art on the other wall and get another coordinating piece in the same frame, same size. And put it on the empty wall

Please look for artwork that you love to hang on the wall in question. The room is lovely as it is but is rather devoid of personality, Buy art that you love;it is all around you at art stores,university art departments.on your travels ....no mirrors in this room; you need color.
