Pool finish and timing

Has anyone used River Rok color called midnight moon? It is new to sgm line, and I cannot find an example of it anywhere! I was leaning towards blue opal, but would love to see midnight moon to be sure.

Second question is our pool builder is now saying we won’t have water or plaster in the pool until the spring, but he’s planning on pouring Gunite next week. Can you actually have concrete in this space over the winter? We are in northwest Arkansas, zone 7a/6b.

I hope someone with pool experience answers here but if it was me I would phone a couple of other pool installers to see what they say about the gunite sitting empty all winter .

Hopefully the PB"s engineer has designed it so that it can be left through the winter.

Here in New Jersey, my engineer designs my structures so they can be empty through the winter. If I have the opportunity, I will fill the within 2 feet of the top. The water actually acts an insulator on the pool structure. We will only get a few inches of ice formed over the coldest times in the winter.
