Put a big piece of artwork over the bed, ditch the little nightstand and get 2 matching nightstands that are the same height as the top of the mattress. If possible, install small wall-mounted light fixtures over the nightstands.

Then put floor-length curtains on the windows, that tie back to the sides, and replace the other curtains in the room so that they all match.

Pull the chair and the loveseat together into a little sitting area, with the coffee table in the middle. Then get a set of (at least) 3 thicker, fluffier-textured area rugs. One for under the coffee table, and 2 for either side of the bed.

Put a nice thick comforter on the bed.

That's just a start. Eventually you'll want to add more artwork to the other walls, especially the blank wall over where the chair is now. Also, you could switch out those white throw pillows for something more colorful.

If your looking for a color palette for the room I'm thinking deep sea blues and golds, but that's just my taste.

agreed.

Matching end tables.

Pendants or book lamps.

Lighter, larger rug.

Bench at the foot of the bed.

Curtains on the back wall.

Lighter paint?

Inspopix. You have no color; if you like the peach flowers in the bedding, add that around the room.
