Feedback on Kindred Spirit Oak

Looking to replace a (gorgeous but invasive BOOHOO lol) Quaking Aspen with a Quercus x warei 'Nadler' - Kindred Spirit Oak.


Wondering if anyone grows this tree and can give me feedback re: the root system and growing perennials under it. I know oaks are generally a good choice but since this is a swamp oak hybrid, I'm not sure if it has a mess of fibrous surface roots.
