Are you planing to put it behind the sectional like a sofa table? Triple check the height so it isn't taller than the sofa's back. If it fits, I think it can work. Can you put the TV on a fully articulated arm so it can be dropped to the correct height for viewing?

I like the one for looks but for what you describe you should be looking for swivel stools.

Measurements of furniture

Height of my sectional is 39 inches.

The top part of the nesting sofa table is 36 inches.

I think the nesting set would look great in your space. The design on the sides mimic the design on your entry console table. It looks like your dining room is off to the right in the first picture. Does the wood tone of the nesting table match your dining room table?

Is it to dark to match with the color of the floor?

That space where my tree is is actually a reading book. The blue swivel chair is normally there. The coffee table we have in front of our sectional looks like this….

I found this one. It kind of mimics our coffee table?

I am curious how often you will actully use the seating. I do not think either choice is right for your space , you have this very nice simple look and to add a heavy looking set behind that sofa is IMO a bad idea. I think a nice sofa table no seating would be a better choice since the dining table loos to be very close to this area.

We have a small eating area at our kitchen island. We would the console as extra seating when we need it because we like entertaining, I have a lamp that I will put there because I like to sit on the couch and work, and a couple of pictures.

We had one custom built for this basement area. Please note the bar table and stools used.
