color choice for gable

last modified: 4 years ago

We painted our brick house with Cristallo White limewash, and are in the process of choosing what to do with the gable ends. The roof is dark brown.

Two options are on the table right now but I came here in case there's a better alternative:

Do the same color, which, in paint is like a "White Cottage" or "Pillowcase" in the HGTV Home by Sherwin Williams collection and leave the carport with just posts but no fence, and trim with something like SW's "Wheat Penny"

OR

Paint the gable ends a "Sealskin" (SW) with "Tricorn" black trim and add the privacy fence to the carport. My wife wants some color on the door so she liked the way SW's "Privileged Green" goes with sealskin, tricorn, Cristallo white and the cedar accents.

I'm having Paralysis by analysis so any help to get unstuck in either direction is appreciated. Or if there's a better alternative... but then too many options will probably make it harder to choose.

Thanks in advance for your input

current gable and trim is some kind of yellow/beige
