Choose a lantern which relates to the historic influence of the front door mill work. Colonial/Federal...in that style.

Thank you Diane. I saw it in the store and it looks just fine! It's $79 on Koda's website. $59 at Costco. Sometimes $49 at Costco. The lights in our other home from Costco lasted 20 years. I'm just asking about the size.

why don't you tape off 19" w/blue painters tape next to the door, snap another picture, and lets see. (get a closer pic this time) But they won't be too big. not next to that pediment/casing.

I'd also move your address numbers to the left of your front door. it's a horrible placement where they currently are.

Beth H this is wonderful! I appreciate all of this! This is actually our daughters house and she asked for our help. Everything in this house is backwards so it doesn’t surprise me that the house numbers are also incorrect! One step at a time. We have helped her gut this home this year and she is now ready to work on some outside “situations”. Inside looks beautiful! We will measure out some blue painters tape and look more into this. Thanks for the photos they were a huge help!!
