We have a hot water dispenser, soap dispenser and faucet on our kitchen sink- trying to decide if we should also add an air switch for the garbage disposal or if its going to be too much on the counter? We are doing quartz. otherwise the switch would be under the sink in the cabinet.

If you can hide it under the sink, go that route. I don't have the valve on top of mine either.

verify w/your DW make and the way your plumbing is done to see if you can do it.

Do it the way your code permits and according to how much you’ll use it. I use mine rarely so I had no problem with a standard wall switch.
