Lights? where are the lights?

I have lights on the tree...it wasn't lit at the time.

I think you might want less green space in between. Also everything seems to be on the surface. Try tucking some ornaments back, 3D.

I would add more red ornaments to start and then maybe add ribbon and see what you think!!

There are lots of ideas on line, but ribbon, a topper and more variation in size and style of ornaments would help.

I always add ribbon at the end of decorating my tree I think it just finishes it off

I’ve got just the opposite problem. I know there’s a tree in there somewhere. Every year I tell myself to cut down on the ornaments, and every year up they go.

Needs a garland. First lights, then garland, next ornaments and finally tinsel.

Garland/tinsel/icicles finish a tree IMPO.

I like a wide netting ribbon that tucks in and out and that goes on first. Then all the "sprays" of twiggy berries and such, than ornaments and more ribbon. and wispy garlands of grapevine, I also love large ornaments and those placed some near the top. And smaller ornaments not just near the top.

I’m an old fashioned tinsel garland gal. It jazzes up the tree and provides bling.

Maybe not possible but lighter drapes on the window would help frame the tree. Some ribbon on the tree in an accent colour. Done.

Definitely add ribbon or garland or both. I started using wide flashy ribbon a few years ago and really like it. I struggle with ’artfully arranged’ cause I’m not creative like that, but in my eyes it becomes the crowning touch.
