Try turning it so it is entirely under the two "wings" of the sectional. If it isn't then get a 9x12.

We agree with turning the rug so it is under the front two legs. If it fits and extends a little past the sectional it is the right size, if not then try going up a size in the rug. Here are some images of our designs with sectionals to show you how we used rugs with them.

Thanks everyone so unfortunately im gonna end uo breaking some rug rules in order to make this rug fit in my space. the 8x10 wouldnt work turning it parallel to the couch because i have these columns right next to my couch it would have run right up to the wall. now i have the 9x12 and i feel its too long and wondering if i should slide it more under the couch. in this position its sitting about 4 inches from the wall/colum. its about 5 inches from the media console. I am so annoyed at this point because the column is in my way! Is my only option at this point to slide it more under the couch? Right now the rug is under all front feet of the couch.

like the rug, would you share where it came from? thanks
