Quality new wooden floor.

Hi,

I got a new apartment and I decided to have a wooden floor (engineered wood flooring).

I have some concerns about how the floor look. The material type is Rustic French Oak. Here I will post some pictures. I think here are many things badly done, the skirting is not well glued, the places on the floor are bad sanding, some threads stuck to the wood, places with a hole.

But here the contractor answer "The rough spots are part of the naturel appearance of the wood. In the beginning, as the floor has just been oiled, these spots are rough and very present. The white oil and color pigment sit in these spots. After a few months these spots will change, just as the color of the floor."

Can someone help me and give me their opinions? Are this things normal in a wooden floor? which by the way is new.

Thanks in advance
